Wording on back of card...
A Madagascan Chameleon peers through the leaves, cautious and alert.
He is picking up some of the colour palette around him, yellows, browns and greens.
He does this by adjusting his skin cell structure, which in turn causes the light to be reflected differently.
Some species also have highway systems between their cells that allow them to move pigment around in order to change colour.
What a clever design..
